Esvagt Picks Brunvoll Propulsion for New SOV

Norwegian agency Brunvoll has been chosen as a provider of the propulsion and maneuvering system for one in every of Esvagt’s new offshore wind service operation vessels (SOV).

Esvagt’s new SOV will probably be managed by Brunvoll’s propulsion and thruster management system, BruCon PTC.

The vessel will probably be outfitted with two azimuth propulsion thrusters, two retractable azimuth thrusters, and a tunnel thruster.

Once accomplished, the brand new vessel will enter operation for Vestas on the Hollandse Kust West VI wind farm within the North Sea. The wind farm will characteristic 54 wind generators and may ship 760 MW. The vessel with the designation, HAV 830 L, will probably be 63.3 meters lengthy and supply lodging for a crew of 54.

This would be the fourth Esvagt vessel at the moment present process development. The vessel is designed by HAV Design and will probably be constructed at Cemre Shipyard.
