To help its continued growth as a maritime know-how chief, ABS has appointed Patrick Ryan as chief know-how officer.
Ryan has served in the important thing government management function of ABS senior vice chairman, world engineering and know-how, since 2019. His appointment as CTO displays the more and more pivotal function of know-how within the world vitality transition.

As CTO, Ryan will function the lead technologist for the corporate, understanding broad trade traits and aligning improvements with ABS’ mission and consumer wants and can proceed to steer and be answerable for ABS’ world engineering, know-how analysis and growth, digital class, engineering software program organizations, Global Simulation Center and the Global Ship Systems Center.
Throughout his profession as a naval architect, Ryan has all the time been centered on innovative applied sciences associated to ships and shipbuilding.
