Cobham Satcom and China TranTech Technologies have signed a contract which incorporates the most important supply of SAILOR XTR Ku VSAT antennas to the Chinese market to this point, supported by an in depth coaching and world service program.

China TranTech is a subsidiary of China Transport Telecommunication Information Group Company Limited (CTTIC) and the one maritime satellite tv for pc security communication supplier in China.

SAILOR 1000 XTR Ku antennas ship reliable, high-speed connectivity that vessel crews must optimize distant marine operations at sea. They provide a novel built-in ethernet port for straightforward integration of third-party units, facilitating extra functionalities reminiscent of easy switching between satellite tv for pc and close-to-shore mobile providers, for many cost-effective operations. These improvements have been amongst the deciding components for the choice of the SAILOR XTR know-how platform for this contract.

“Our Commercial shipping customers demand the most reliable connectivity and we are confident that the SAILOR XTR platform will deliver exactly this,” stated Kong Xianglun, GM, China TranTech. “We have chosen to focus on SAILOR XTR especially because the technology allows flexible, easy access for remote services, while providing a rugged foundation for internet connectivity even in the extreme conditions that Chinese merchant vessels face regularly.”

SAILOR XTR is the inspiration for a various vary of state-of-the-art VSAT antennas. Regardless of business or vessel kind, SAILOR XTR covers a number of constellations, orbits, and frequencies, enabling service suppliers and end-users to leverage the quickest, best high-speed maritime broadband right now, and sooner or later. The integral flexibility of SAILOR XTR ensures easy compatibility with essentially the most superior new satellite tv for pc providers, mitigating the prices of putting in new antennas.
