The AiP covers an ammonia energy system that generates electrical energy from liquid ammonia to energy maritime vessels. This is achieved by cracking the liquid ammonia to hydrogen, and utilizing the produced hydrogen to generate electrical energy via proton-exchange membrane (PEM) gas cells.
