Wärtsilä’s Inks Deal for Supplies on Four new LPG Ships

Wärtsilä will provide the cargo dealing with and gasoline provide techniques for 4 new 40,000 m3 fuel service vessels. The ships are being constructed on the CIMC SinoPacific Offshore & Engineering (SOE) shipyard in China for Norwegian shipowner Avance Gas.  

The Wärtsilä LPG Fuel Supply System (LFSS) is a system that permits using LPG as gasoline. This will increase operational effectivity and helps environmental sustainability.

These would be the first medium sized LPG service vessels constructed on the SOE yard. The Wärtsilä tools is scheduled to be delivered within the latter a part of 2024, and the ships are anticipated to be delivered in 2nd half 2025 and onwards.
