Taiwanese container transport firm Yang Ming Marine Transport Corp. introduced it has ordered 5 liquefied pure gasoline (LNG) dual-fuel containerships from South Korean shipbuilder HD Hyundai Heavy Industries Co., Ltd.
The 15,500 TEU newbuilds are scheduled to be delivered in 2026. Each will probably be outfitted with high-pressure LNG twin gasoline foremost engines and ballast water remedy programs.
